Voici ce qui arrive quand on envoit les 3 soeurs Thibault acheter de l'epicerie...elles reviennet avec une pedicure francaise et pleins d'ingredients manquants,  lol ! Les photos sont mediocres mais ca vous donne quand meme une bonne idee!

This is what happen when you send 3 sisters grocery shopping...They come back with a French Pedicure and a lot of missing ingredients, lol

Mes soeur sont arrivees! / My Sisters have arrived!

Hier mes soeurs sont arrivees avec la compagnie aerienne Porter. Selon elles, elles on fait du slalum avec l'avion a l'atterissage...lol! Je suis allee les chercher a Toronto moi-meme. Nous sommes allees magasiner afin de me faire marcher pour faire descendre le bebe.

My 2 sisters arrived yesterday with Porter in Toronto. They apparently did some slalom at the landing...lol! Since nothing has happened yet I went to pick them up myself. We than went shopping to help the baby drop.

40 semaines aujourd'hui et pas encore de bebe!/40 Weeks today and no baby yet!

J'arrive de chez la femme sage et ma bedaine mesurait 39cm le coeur du bebe etait a 130/min. Tout a l'aire beau. Elle a fait un examin pour voir si j'avais commencer a dillater, resultat, nada! Rien n'a changer. La porte est bien fermee! Alors pas de chance pour un bebe aujourd'hui...

J'ai un rendez-vous mardi prochain pour une echo afin de savoir si tout va bien. J'espere bien quand meme que ca se fasse d'ici Vendredi! Mais bon, bebe n'est pas presse de sortir! J'vais quand meme faire des efforts pour la motiver a sortir. J'avais penser a arreter de manger, dans ce cas la a finirait par sortir parce qu'a l'aurait torp faim! Je blague!

Bon ben je vous tiens au courrant. Je crois qu'elle veut attendre ces tantes qui viennent ce Vendredi, Vero et Caro. Vero t'as pas de chance, tu devras assister a mon accouchement! :P

I just came back from the Midwife and my belly was 39cm and the baby's heart rate was 130/min. Everything look good so far. So my midwife did an exam to check if I was dilated but not a chance. The door is really close. So no baby for today! I have an appointment on next Tuesday for and Ultrasound in case I still haven give birth by then. They want to check if the baby is ok and if I still have enough amniotic liquid. Obviously she is not in a hurry to come out! I just hope that she doesn't pass this Friday. From now on I will do any effort to get her out of there! I was actually thinking of starving myself...maybe she will be so hungry she will want to come out! Just kidding!

Anyway I"ll keep you posted! I think she is just waiting for my 2 sisters to arrive this Friday. My sister Vero was hoping that it would be done by the time they show up but I have the feeling she will have to see it! :P

Un Chef D'oeuvre sur ma bedaine/My Belly Painting on Labour Day!

Un Artist parmi nous! Et oui nous avons eu la chance de pratiquer "Belly Painting" un cadeau de Janet mon ancienne collegue. Albert et moi avions attendu jusqu'a ce que ma bedaine soit assez grosse pour creer un chef d'oeuvre. Finallement on s'est decide aujourd'hui a la fete du travail, une journee avant mes 40 semaines. Cool hein! Merci Janet!

An Artist amoung us! We had the chance to practice " Belly Painting". Thanks to Janet my former Colleague at CFC (Jim's sister) She gave us a kit a while ago and we were wainting until my belly would be showing enough. We finally decided to do it today on Labour Day. One day before my 40 Weeks or Pregnancy. This is awesome! Thanks Janet! 

Un cadeau de Roxie! / A Playpen from Roxane/ Een Kinderbox van Roxane

 

Un des premiers cadeaux que j'ai recu de Roxane. Nous allons l'adorer puisque maintenant je peux changer la couche du bebe en bas et aussi elle pourra dormir dans le salon durant la journee. Ce parc nous sera bien utile lorsque nous irons au bateau. On a deja trouve un endrois ou le mettre. Il se demonte en un morceau et prend a peine d'espace dans l'auto... Vraiment bien concu! Merci Roxane!

One of the first many gift I received from Roxane. We will like it because now I can change the baby's diaper downstairs and she can sleep in the living room during the day. This park will be very useful when we go to the boat. We have already found a spot where to put it. It comes apart in one piece and takes just a little space in the car ... Really well done! Thanks Roxane!

Transformation d'un meuble de cuisine Ikea / Transforming our kitchen Free standing drawers from Ikea

  

Depuis un bon p'tit bout de temps, nous nous demandions quoi faire avec notre meuble qui etait dans la cuisine. Albert avait penser a l'utiliser dans son atelier de travail ou quelque part dans la maison mais c'est vraiment gros et nous n'avons pas vraiment de place. Albert voulait l'utiliser comme table a langer mais je trouvais pas que c'etait une bonne idee puisque que les tiroirs son en stainless steel et le dessu est un bloc boucher.

Finalement apres reflexion, j'ai eu l'idee de le transformer en le recouvrant de "mactac blanc". Et voila ce que ca l'a donner...

Je viens de sauver $500 sur un bureau pour la chambre du bebe! En plus ca match avec la couchette!

For the longuest time we were wondering what to do with this unit that was standing in our kitchen. We tought Albert would use it for his workplace but on the other end we tought we could use it somewhere else in the house. The only problem was that it is a very big piece of funiture...so not much room in the house.

Albert wanted to use it as a changing table but I didn't think it was a good idea since it look too much like a kitchen set with the stainless steel drawer and the bucher bloc on the top.

Finally after thiking it over and over I got the idea to transform it by covering the top and the drawers with "White MacTac" and voila!

I just save myself $500 on a Chest drawers for the baby room! And it match the crib!

Berceau suspendus/Hanging Cradle

N'est-ce pas genial? Ce berceau a appartenu a ma belle soeur Jeannette Graves et mon beau-frere Merijn. Ils me l'on envoye directement de la Hollande. C'etait un cadeau de Mary et Peter Graves.Nous sommes vraiement content de l'avoir! J'ai hate que notre bebe puisse dormir dedant!

Isn't it cool? This hanging cradle belongs to my sister in law Jeannette Graves and my brother in law Merijn. It was shipped direct from Holland. This was a gift from Albert's dad, Peter Graves and is wife Mary.We are very happy to have it now!  I can't wait to have our baby sleeping in it!
